My take on it all.
From day one, we were never going to be dictating to the EU, neither were we going to be treated as an Equal.
We where to be treated as what we decided to be, a Third Country, a competitor on the doorstep of the EU.
A large percentage of the British Media set about insulting the EU and calling them all the names under the sun, so did our Politicians.
Not a very sensible thing to do.
The EU just smiled politely and said this is what you are getting, take it or leave it.
They did not move, we did, we ended up with a simple, basic Trade Deal which did us no favours at all.
Frost negotiated it, Boris signed it.
We then went back to change it, the EU said get stuffed, you have only just signed it.
We have picked fights with the EU about the settlement, the EU have just let us rant on and have not moved.
The EU have instituted everything they wanted in the Trade Agreement, they have cut the exports of our fish and foods, made it very difficult and expensive to export to them.
They check everything we export to them, we check nothing they export to us.
They are now turning the screw on Services.
Lord Frost and the other hardliners are also complaining about Covid and the Restrictions.
We should be a low tax, low regulation Country, let Covid rip and accepted the consequences.
Yes, we could have done this, but at what cost to our way of life?
A very easy thing to say until your family are affected.
It is going to be difficult to sort this all out.
Lord Frost was the best man in cabinet and really on top of his game. He will be a shocking loss to the continuing Brexit negotiations and virtually impossible to replace… no doubt the EU will be rejoicing today…
Then again, Frost might just be thawing his way to a shot at taking over as PM?
Might have been difficult, had he still been working under Boris, much easier now?

Frost was a top man fighting for every British voter right across the nations. Boris should have listened to all the warnings he gave out over 12 weeks ago

Lord Frost did NOT negotiate the trade deal !
He had rejected EU proposals right up to the last few hours
before the so called deadline expired , when Boris intervened
and within the last minutes signed without really checking what
he signed ??
So three months of Frosty saying NO were wiped out in a few
minutes so Boris could announce his “WONDER DEAL” !!
That’s my take on it, and it is borne out by the events !!
