Living in 2 countries post Brexit - any advice?

Hello,

I’m hoping to live in Denmark for 5 months a year and in the uk for 7 months after I retire in December.

Does anyone have any advice on how I will be able to do this. ps. my wife is Danish.

Hi

Move now, rules change at the end of this year.

You will no longer have an automatic right to move to the EU.

You need to check the Danish rules.

Swimfeeders is right, we don’t know exactly what will happen yet. I suggest you talk to someone at the Danish Embassy in London asap.

We wanted info on various things before moving to Portugal in 2001

And found the best people to help was not the PT Embassy in London, or even the PT consulate, but the Brit consulate in Lisbon.

ps. my wife is Portuguese.

Well I got a reply from the British Embassy in Copenhagen in a very timely manner. Looks like I got a lazy person as they only bothered to send the link to the UK government web site which I had previously research without success.
