Hope is fading for the little girl lost on a camping site in Australia .
She disappeared from her family’s tent in the night . The zip of the tent was down
How terrible for the parents and the horrible similarity to other child abductions .

Oh how dreadful, her poor family. I’m thinking how terrified I was when I lost one of mine for five minutes, then multiply that by a million
So terrible but like the rest of the world I’m hoping for a miracle

Oh yes indeed a worry. I ‘lost’ my eldest daughter whilst I changed on a beach for a swim and my attention was only lax for less that a minute, but fortunately she had returned to the car and mum + daughter No2. During that short time I was frantic and after that we always moved around as a pair with children closely monitored.

Oh that is so awful, every parent’s nightmare and it’s become their reality. Same age as Maddy McCann when she disappeared while on holiday, but somehow worse, because the parents were actually in the tent with her. I can’t begin to imagine what they’re going through now, the terror, absolutely heartbreaking. Please please let her be found alive and safe

The police are now trying to identify a car seen speeding away from the campsite at 3.00 a.
Looking back over our adult years , am I wrong in thinking that many more children now go missing?
We will all remember the Brady & Hindley abductions, but they were either mentally ill or just evil. I don’t want to live in a world where people steal children & harm them, because they are no better that Brady & Hindley. 
If criminals want to steal & harm other people’s children ( or even pets for that matter) aren’t we as bad as the criminals if we don’t make their punishments so bad that they decide " it isn’t worth the risk".

The police are asking for CCTV footage from shops and petrol stations so I suppose they think she might have been taken off in a car. Her sleeping bag was missing so it’s possible she was carried off in that and didn’t just wander off.
Yes, we need severe punishment for this sort of thing. I don’t believe in death penalty but really shut them away for life so they can never even see another child again, let alone hurt them

I would be much harsher! Perhaps we should lock them in a dungeon and release chemicals on a regular basis , that make them suffer!
Perhaps that would make them feel the pain & fear that the children they hurt felt!
Vicious crimes are increasing and we cant keep all criminals in clean accommodation with 3 meals a day for long periods!
I can’t allow myself to think what is happening to abducted children , it is too frightening!

I honestly cant allow myself to hear or read any more awful things happening in this world . I know of this yet I cant think about it . All around every day every week there is dreadful things happening.

As far as I am concerned they should never be allowed in public again. They are a danger to those who can’t protect themselves. IMHO there is no worse predatory behavior.

Brilliant news as this youngster is found alive after missing for more than two weeks.
"Missing four-year-old Cleo Smith has been found “alive and well” after disappearing from a camp site in Western Australia more than two weeks ago.
A team from Western Australia Police broke into a locked house in Carnarvon around 1am on Wednesday morning where they found the little girl in one of the rooms. A man from the area is in custody."

I’m so pleased too …when I saw the headline she was found honestly I thought they had found her body…what a joy she is alive and well and back with her mum and those who love her.

Found in the house of a loner not seven minutes from her own home .
What terror for her and family I feel such relief. Praying she will recover
