Lions in South Africa

In the numerous videos posted by the sanctuary the lions appear happy and healthy enough.

There’s ‘good’ places and bad but my over arching philosophy is that animals should NOT be held in captivity.

Kruger National Park has these animals in their natural habitat and they are a joy to watch. A totally different experience to animals held in captivity.

You’d have to experience it to truly understand and see the difference between captivity and natural habitat.

Thank you. Yes, I actually cried.

I also cry when I see them in captivity. It’s awful.

As Minx said just now, there are always good places and bad in any animal rescue - or zoo even.

I know it is not ideal, but in a way I would sooner seem them safe in LARGE enclosed area, than kept in cages in solitary, or left for those despicable trophy hunters to murder.
Same with the elephants.
