Excellent choice. One of his best.

Thanks Judd – I think so too – do not think anyone can beat
his performance of this song.

Famous Blue Raincoat

Cohen it his most downbeat and philosophical

Definitely ‘BLUE’ – a new one to me - thanks for the post.

Loved the first song, but not so keen on the second one at all.

Philistine.

I was at this concert

How lucky were you!! Would love to have seen him in concert.
Thanks for this post.

Cheesey video but I like this one …

I agree, Dood, that’s a really lovely song. I like cheesy.

Some of you music lovers won’t believe this, but I had honestly never heard of this man before this thread.

I have since done some research on him. I watched a couple of his interviews, heard what he had to say, and then listened to some more of his songs.

Not only did I love his gravelly voice, I also liked the way he talked and his thoughts and views. He said he was a Monk once too. I was impressed.
How sad that he has now gone.

So thank you Richmond, for introducing me to this man.

One of my long time favourites…

Letter he wrote to Marianne shortly before her death/

One of my favourites …love the guitar . I posted Haĺlelujah here a few months ago he sang it at his London concert…brilliant

I love this man more and more.
I love to hear him talk, he is so warm and deeply thoughtful.

I heard a smashing song by him today, I will try and post it later but I need to practice first.

Just listen to what he is saying before he sings, he is so wise and spiritual.

I love it when he says -

" Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
And that is how the light gets in."

What a man.

** Wey Hey, thank you Shroppie! It worked. X :023:

He was a real poet.

Another classic…
