ohhhh, dear. Gummy-just sometimes [ie;always] your distinct inability to distinguish a ‘faux pas’ from a ‘cock up’,means that,to the gentle,high-quality ladies for whom this forum is a light-hearted easing of the day’s trials…YOU,remain the biggest, most annoying trial of all!
In’t that right, ladies! But fear not-for Gentleman Pugsy is here,to protect,to guard,to accompany you through the threads of terror and defend your honour unto death, sweet ladies-so fear not this wretch;rather, let him prevaricate his unwholesomeness, that you, dear ladies, may predicate his reality, hidden behind the thin veneer of sociability to which he appertains…
Yes of course. Now Pugsy there is a play type thread asking for characters. You would be perfect for one of the parts. What do you think? Gummy is a farmer.
Quote Pug.

Well said Pug me lad, spoken like a true gentleman, no need for that sort of stuff at all, a ladies honour is paramount in this thread and it’s the duty of gentlemen to observe the code of the old school “Et undae qunti monto unada Rincio” which roughly translated from the latin means “Keep it nice and clean, use Rinso”
The last thing we want is getting dumped into cheeky chat and password protected.:-)
Hey Spitty, I see Dilly Dilly have a new add out, I only caught a glimpse of it the other night, no doubt it will be on for a bit to come, on the better commercial channels of course.
You are SO right Jem and Pugsy.
Gummy just gets carried away at times.
I don’t think he means too.
I sometimes wonder if you would rather keep this thread for men only.
I did ask politely if I could join.
A subject justs gets sidetracked, which is a shame, as I think it stops Young Robert from posting.
yes I often well not often but sometimes take out my diamonds to cut and polish - well not so much cut but wash and polish as a sing away in my echo chamber! pugsy sings falsetto ; pugsy sings falsetto - I think it’s something to do with his diamonds being too tight - right Pugwash??
We had a death in the family last night , sister in law in Wexford, so we’re heading down there now by train, I’ll be gone for a few days.
Be good and I’ll see you all when I get back.
