Leisurely Scribbles (part 5) (Part 1)

and which shop can I buy vid codes at?? - would that be a video store??

No such places anymore Gummy.

How are you feeling today?
Does nurse Sweetie need to bring some medicine?

Ok, a new take on where we live.

I went to Bournemouth once…it rained…

OIY, stop raining on my parade.

sorrreeeeee…[smirk]…

grating voice!!

It’s not me.
So where is your contribution???

I did enjoy the song of the candle, thank you Sweetie and Gummy.
I hope your feeling better now Gummy, take it easy, you are running around the forum like a blue arsed fly lately spreading yerself out like margarine, worrying about the earth overheating and the sun running out of gas is a fools game, what will be will be and worrying it not good for the blood pressure, you ain’t as young as you used to be ya know. The welfare of my fellow scribblers is paramount to me at all times.
Now take me for example, 72 years on the planet an still in the whole of me health, never lose the head, never worry, never argue about something I can do nothing about, cool as a mountain stream and happy as the lark that sups there. Relaxation is the key my man.

I noticed we are approaching the 10,000 post here, I think RJ should have the honour of posting the 10,000th post as it’s his big 70th birthday year, what say you all we all hold back when the time comes and reserve it for him?

Her idea of ‘everything on my doorstep’…includes a city that’s a two hour journey away,IF the trains are running! Which they invariably aren’t…so it’s actually a three-day wheelbarrow ride away.
[just sayin’]

Who is HER? The cats’ Mother.
I thought you told me it was a two day camel ride!

'cuse me Sir d’ya know when de next wheelbarrow is leavin for bornmoth??

You would need to dig upwards.

thank you young Jem - Stan Rogers was the top Canadian folk singer until he was very unfortunately killed from smoke asphyxiation in a plane leaving USA back to CA - he was trying to help other confused passengers instead of trying to get out quick himself - what a lovely guy.

A little poem from me.

I’m your little ray of sunshine if dark clouds haunt your day
I try my best to make you laugh, in my silly little way
I often help if posting vids are troubling for you all
I often trip, and you pick me up if ever I take a fall
So I guess you are stuck with this silly Dame
Cos I really am as sweet as my name
I thank you all for letting me stay
That’s all I have to say:lol:

Yes…we really ARE nice. But worry not,Miss Pie…for t’is 247 mugs of tea, plus a ‘flat white’ for gumboil, that is your next task…cos we all love ya. isn’t that right, lads. …lads?..

I was complimenting you guys.

ma’am…no greater compliment could you give, than your esteemed, invaluable company. For this forum doth verily shine, reaching heights of splendour unknown to lesser forums…and t’is your presence, your wonderful presence, that allows such radiant beauty to be rained upon such unworthy souls as are we,milady…and we are grateful, each and every one of us.

Thanks Jem, for mooting reserving post 10,000 for me.

I am flattered but must decline this honour.

I can’t say how well I’ll be on the day, and I don’t want to hold things up.

I might, perish the thought, be missing after flouncing out of SCRIBBLES. after an imagined slight’

I might have had early onset dementia.

Lets see what happens

thanks
