I live close to the New Forest, I love to go there and see the ponies and the deer. There are also wild donkeys and boars. It is nice to just wander through the forest, BUT!!!, there is no phone signal. I got lost once, I wanted to watch the deer, I completely lost my family!!! There are tourist trails, but, well you know me, I have to be different. It took my hubby three hours to find me.

I live in a forest too but it is not new - it is ancient - in the great wilderness called the ‘top end’ or more formerly the Kimberley - we have the west K which is me and the west coast of course and then the East K where my son once lived in a harbour town called Wyndham. T
hat is only have way across oz and used to take me 12 non-stop driving to get there. I arrived once at 5pm exhausted and phoned ahead asking my son to open his gates and he said he saw this car coming screeching around the bend and just missed his gate post coming in! -
if you continue for another day or two you get to the very very east coast which is Queensland - we do have a big country.
I live on 8 acres with hundreds of kangas who are very polite and usually get out of my way! at night it gets very very dark cos we have no street lights but thousands of stars!!
