Well due my last 6 months in hospital bed and after that confined to a bed in the lounge Im now trying like hell to get around the garden, but ive been warned do to much and feel the pain in the legs and Oh boy is that true,
But today after (she who must be obeyed) had gone to the shops i took a chance and made it across the Lawn to the greenhouse, it nearly broke my heart to see nothing growing and the wasp taking over some of my clay plant pots as home, But my old wooden chair had been much used by one of the cats and so i spent an hour just sitting looking around the verious shelving and plastic guttering i’d attached to my staging to start my verious seeds off in,And the biscuit tins with old pkts of seeds in them, It’s a bit like a ghost view of what was,
But at the same time it made me glad to be back home and a chance to plan the new me & the ways i’ll be gardening in the future, The do say climate change needs tobe taken into thought as all this change in weather etc really needs to be thought about, So time to plan for the next years crops and bedding plants,
And read up on gardening matters, Im lucky really that over the years i managed to get a good collection of gardening books,
" TIP" Try the charity shops for your gardening books,
A lot of them have ended up in such places due to the last owners now gardening in Heaven and the books are donated to charity shops By serious gardeners of the past who bought good quality books and ive a few that are thick and have verious well respected author’s who wrote about what they new, unlike a lot of modern gardening books about an inch thick and have full pages of one picture of such things as a cabbage (Even if your just starting off gardening you should know what a cabbage looks like and such a A4 size page could have a better use on gardening subject matter,
So give this bit of info a thought and the (charity shop’s) the books are a lot cheaper and any sales will go to a good cause so every ones a winner and a lot of the older books really do give good Info;
Well time i had my race back to the house before (the boss comes home) and i have promised this slug a race to the patio, (put your bets on the slug winning “I would”)
