Not posted a pic for a while as my PC has been poorly, but now it’s better I’d thought I would put up one of my latest shots. Not my best shot of a Kingfisher I’ve taken, as he was quite some distance away, but the best I’ve managed this year.

This one of my best Kingfisher pics taken last year and the result of hours of waiting for it to show up and luckily I was quite close to it when it landed as it was remarkably tame.

This is stunning @Graham, so detailed! I love the latest shot you’ve taken as well, both lovely captures. The only time I’ve seen Kingfishers, they’ve been just a flash of bright blue as they dive in and out with their catch. They are so fast, blink and you miss them!

That close up is brilliant! Normally people just capture a flash of blue, but this is so detailed. Incredible!
