Come on guys, help me out here. Two or twenty heads are better than one ( mine only houses one brain cell).
Up at the top right corner where you see a little icon of your own avatar there is an I-Ching symbol of 3 straight lines.
At the bottom of that Menu is another menu for Keyboard Shortcuts.
How do they work? anyone figured it out yet?
Ps … and I couldn’t find a suitable Tag for this so picked the very inappropriate Beauty.

Personally I don’t use the keyboard shortcuts, but if you press them in sequence as per that page, it should do the desired action (though of course not while typing a reply like I am currently doing).

It’s an experimental feature tho - so we’ll see how it goes.
We also now have a ‘who’s online’ section at the top of the forum:
…and at some point we can change the ‘Members Online Recently’ section on the homepage to ‘Who’s Been Online Today’ (though the only thing is if we have too many there it will slow down how quickly the page loads as that’s a lot of pictures to load, hence atm I have it limited to the last 100 users)… but again we’ll see how it goes 
I know @Meg was asking for a who’s online feature too so pinging her here as well 
I just spotted it as I was roving. It makes it feel more homey … to us old timers.

But yeah, I am busying tweaking things and I think we’re slowly but surely getting there (thanks for all your feedback - same to everyone else who has been leaving feedback, asking questions etc too!)
The great thing about this new system is we have so much more potential for the site as a whole - the homepage is actually custom built - so at some point we could add something like a dating component in dating.over50schat.com or even over 50s blogs at blogs.over50schat.com - but let’s not get ahead of ourselves
You’re like a kid with a new toy … your excitement is infectious. I suppose the old place had got limited in its scope compared to here. It’s not as daunting as I first thought it to be.
Tell you what does take a bit of getting used to … no forum banner at the top of the home page.

When I get time, we can add a ‘Popular Members This Month’ box too… that will show the members who’ve received the most likes this month
