I recently joined the above mentioned organisation. They provide people’s recommendations for say, plumbers, builders, electricians, gardeners, etc. that have done a good job for them. You can also ask yourself for any info. Any dodgy people doing the rounds, are also mentioned. Stuff for sale quite cheaply, or for free. Upcoming local events are also useful to know. All in all, I’m quite impressed, and it’s free to join, so I’ll see how it flies.

So I’ve been a member since the Streetlife days, since before it was called Nextdoor. I’ve been a lead (Mod).
Great for heated arguments on 20mph vs 30mph limits and associated CCTV extortionate fines. Local crime, useless cop and councils.
If you want a recommendation for a plumber/builder, forget it. Most householders around here don’t know the difference between good & bad, plus the site is riddled with fake recommendations.
