Just finished this dolly for my daughter's birthday

That is very sweet, Tess.

I made a Gazing Ball, for the garden, from a solar globe which stopped working. I stuck glass beads on it with silicone adhesive.
I didn’t have many blue though.

That’s brilliant Tess, it certainly catches your eye! :023:

Pretty, Tess.

Thanks chums x

I’m going to make another with dvd shards, you can split them in half with hot water apparently, then cut them up. Also you can make roses out of them!
Just have to decide which movies were rubbish

I’m making angels like the first doll, calling them “Gardening Angels”, they’ll have little plant pots, trowels etc. and of course wings, for Xmas.

Anyone else been crafting during Lockdown?
Show us your makes please.

How sweet, Tessa. I am sure it will be greatly and treasured for a long, long time!

The dvd ball. I had to put the dvds in boiling water to split them, then cut them up and stick 'em!

I love stuff like this…you should start your own online shop they are lovely.

Wow - that is brilliant - never knew you could do that with them! Have just sorted through my DVD collection and put lots in box to go to the charity shop when I am allowed again. Maybes I should reclaim them and get creative.

What do you use to cut them?

What is the ball made from?

Do you want any more?

Once they’re split Tabs, you can cut them easily with scissors. One side is silver, the other is purple so you get different effects.
I used some solar light globes that had stopped working. You need to sand them lightly to get a key for the adhesive to grap onto. You could use any plastic shape. I lost my finger prints several times as I got silicone in my hands. Wearing gloves doesn’t help as the gloves get stuck to it

I found some blank dvds to use luckily, hoarding can be useful:-D

Summer, I like my crafts as hobbies, if I had to make things I’d soon go off them. I don’t want to part with them either.

I’ve seen roses made from dvds too, perhaps my next project.

I really do admire you ladies who are good at inventing and making things, I am no good at anything like that.
Really well done Tess. :023:

May I show you clever ladies a lovely pressie I received recently. This lady is another gifted crafter - it’s our own Silver Tabby.
This is my ‘Beddie bag’ and I am very proud of it.

(Hope you don’t me posting it on your thread Tess).

I would love to try that - I bet they pretty!

Thinks: Wonder if these would go through my die cutting machine? Will give it a try when am back on my feet.

That’s very clever thinking Tess, what a great imagination you have!

We have some very clever ladies on OFF! :023:

I love your Beddie Bag Mups

Well done to Silver Tabby! :023:
