Junior doctor strike led to 196,000 cancellations

The junior doctor strike, along with the other strikes, led to the cancellation of 500,000 appointments over the last 5 months, according to the NHS.

Junior doctors are only on a low wage during their first year, after that and when they have more experience their wages go up astronomically, with those who want it working either part time in the private sector or full time in the private sector as a GP.
