About bloody time too!

Held way too long.
The legal system does not work. There are too many delays, or years.
He will no doubt do no more time.
The article suggests he will be sentenced to time already served - 62 months.

Finally! He should be given a medal for everything he helped exposed! Disgusting the way he was treated.

They need to stop their manhunt of Edward Snowden as well - as well as all the other whistle blowers who have been trying to hold our govts to account!

He suffered a huge injustice.
Harassed by the US and UK governments and jailed 5 years.
What did he do?
Exposed criminal acts of the US and UK governments.
The way all governments work is that their secrets must never be revealed to the public.
Nothing short of disgraceful.

An interesting article about why he has effectively been released.

Assange excelled at journalism like no one before him because he devised a new model for forcing governments to become more transparent and public servants more honest. Which is precisely why the elite who wield secret power want him and that model destroyed.

If even one person died because of the information he released, in my opinion he got what he deserved.

To all you Aussies who welcome Assange back home his private flight cost him a lot of money.

So to help him pay for it there is a GFM page.

And to all us English who are glad to see the back of him you can give smthing as well.

Free Julian Assange - a Community crowdfunding project in London by Free Assange Campaign (crowdfunder.co.uk)

I would but Iā€™m a bit skint at the moment.
