I've had my chest x-ray

Hello Dreamy, you have just put a smile on my face.
Not spend it on anything else!!! Please I know you will find something.

Glad you had the energy to go out, all good. x

I went back out and sold my earphones; it’s nice to get cash for something that’s simply sitting around unused.

I’ve definitely got more energy - the shop, while not faraway is uphill near the top of my street and I was hardly out of breath.

That is good, and yes I agree, we all have stuff we can sell.

Am not used to having cash in the house - I have over £500 but am not putting it in my bank as it is too far away. Thinking about selling my Apple watch, also, as I seldom use it.

I’ll just live off the cash until it runs out, no need to use the money in the bank until then.

Feeling quite energetic today, feel like going shopping and seeing if I can get a bottle green jumper somewhere. Plenty on Amazon, but I don’t know how they would fit so would rather try one on first.

A panic attack on the way to the shops somewhat derailed me today. I did get a light bottle-green jumper, though, probably paid too much at £100 but it should last the winter.

I don’t have much luck with jumpers - they invariably get holes in them even when they’ve been nowhere near moths.

Oh dear, you were doing so well Dreamy.
Glad you got your jumper.

Hoping to get one more jumper today at about £30 if I can manage to drag myself to the shops.

Yesterday was terrible for fatigue - I went back to bed about 3 times during the day as I was so tired, I even fell asleep in front of the TV when I wasn’t in bed. Got a few hours last night too.

Hi

I do not feel comfortable without a wad of cash.

Quite surprising after 11 years in the village, where cash is king, to see people paying by card even for small purchases.

I am selling loads of stuff I no longer use, quite therapeutic and good for the wallet.

Can I ask why you feel so fatigued?..I was in bed most of the day yesterday,I’m sure it’s to do with the medication,…I can’t stand being on all these pills, leaves such a nasty taste in my mouth, when I see the consultant soon,I hope he tells me I can stop taking them,…£100 for a jumper,crikey!..is it a special wool?

Well, Dreamy I hope you and Pauline both get your energy levels back soon.
But, I agree if you feel tired go to bed.

Hope you get your Jumper Dreamy.

I feel so fatigued as a result of the chemotherapy, even though that finished in July. Some days are better than others but yesterday was dreadful.

I’ve been up since 6 and feel OK so far but will go back to my bed if tired although I hate having to do so.

Dreamy what colour Jumper are you hoping to buy?

Thank you,SP,

I think it best we listen to our body,it’s good at telling us we need to rest, that’s if we’re listening,…hope your fatigue passes soon,Ffosse,

For £30 I got a nice mustard yellow jumper. I tried on the large size in the store and it fits me perfectly.

Sadly, I succumbed to my vice and bought another watch. It was reduced by Ā£500 and I couldn’t resist it.

Oh well, if it makes you happy.
Shall I post some pics of those fake Rolex we bought in Bulgaria, at my bar?

Thanks. I’ve been doing better today. I want to sleep the whole night through; I’ve been awakening at 2 then dozing on and off lately no doubt due to the fact that I sleep through the day too. I even dozed off in front of the TV yesterday.

Please do. The fakers have gotten really good at what they do. For Ā£200 you can buy a fake Rolex and it’s very difficult to tell the difference. I’m assuming your fakes were less than Ā£200 but do post them.

They paid the equivalent of £12 for some, then I found some for £7.

Photos please. Here is mine; I think I’m addicted to expensive Swiss watches. But they make me happy, at least for a while. But it’s a hobby of mine; my collection is modest compared with others on a watch forum I belong to. Before I got sick I only had my Rado, but have bought 3 watches this year, quite pricey ones but I like them all and that could be good for my health.

I don’t have a car with all its attendant cost, I’m quite lucky really. I’ve put in my will that all my watches be left to the teenage cancer trust so they can auction them and get some money. I hope that’s a long way off.
