@Ruthio - I’m not sure if my guesses are correct but I think these are cryptic clues - you have to work out the clue to discover the name of the Italian City.

e.g.
2. Railway is usually abbreviated on maps and plans to “ry”
If there is no railway, you remove the “ry” from Very Nice, you get Ve…nice

@ruthio - I am not confident about the Rome answer for the reasons you say - but fish eggs are Roe, so it was all I could think of ! :rofl:

I make that 6 right so far. Assisi isn’t right but Ripple was partly on the right track. Judi Dench has played M in the last 5 or 6 Bond movies hence Ro[M]e.
