Is this a good deal on Composite Bonding (dental work)

Hi first time poster long time lurker here

Ive looked after my teeth for many years, yes ive got some fillings and the odd tooth taken out but for the most part im pretty happy with their condition. a friend has just had some work done and recommended a local private dentist. ive only ever used the nhs so have no idea of costs.

is this a good deal?

its a black friday deal at £299

theyre offering composite bonding which i believe is some sort of goo applied to your teeth that makes them white and corrects any wear

my friend seems pretty happy with his he certainly has whiter teeth as a result.

is this a treatment you’d recommend? are there any drawbacks? is this a good price?

When it needs to be replaced the dentist has to ‘shave’ some of the tooth back (and nothing beats your own teeth imo). If it’s because of gaps, braces might be better?
