Or are the cheap ones just as good?
Mine has started tripping out the circuit so I think it’s time to get a new one - is there much difference between them?
I buy the cheapest Big W steam iron I think it cost about $17 perhaps a decade or so ago. I never use it but my kids, particularly the one still in the military, and my daughter do when they visit. They have no complains about it.
I only replaced it because I dropped the previous one on the carpet which obviously had some acrylic in its pile and stuck to the irons base.
The cheap Chinese ones are excellent, do the job, why would you pay more?
