Is black out or still in?

Over to you ladies is it black or a blaze of color for you this summer?

“A woman without a little black dress, has no future,” said Coco Chanel.

But there are many arguments against this too - and Queen II is a dress in question!!

there ya go some of us do care about how you feel and how you dress - it’s just that we like to see you undressed too!!

A lot of women wear black because … it is slimming - but don’t tell anyone I said that !

Black doesn’t suit everyone, and particularly when you age your skin and hair tend to fade, so black makes you look washed out. I never wear it now. I’ve got a lot better idea of what colours suit me now I’m older.

Also, how many people go to black dress events any more?

funerals perhaps??

Do people really want to wear black clothes on a summer’s day?

I hate black, brown and grey.

I love colour especially pink and red it instantly makes me feel better in myself.

My lifestyle doesn’t fit in with the little black dress anymore though have still probably got at least one in storage.

do people wear black for funerals in UK anymore?

Not always Gumbud, quite a lot state no black or a certain colour especially when it is a child’s funeral.

I love the way the sunshine has brought out all the bright colours I noticed it in the supermarket yesterday everyone had on light bright colours a big change from the jeans and anoraks we are used to seeing.

I think the little black dress will always be in fashion and actually I bought a black top only yesterday for a night out on Saturday …so for me black is still in…just less of it.

Black has been OUT for Me for many years,it just doesn’t suit Me and makes Me feel down & dowdy…I’ve insisted that no-one wears it at My funeral.

you’ll be watching then?

See Gummy, a bit more Britishness gone, no one should be sad at a funeral.
Black is obligatory in my book.

Of course!..from a distance

yea I do like a good liquid wake! - clear the sad away!

Ladies are beautiful whatever they wear (apart from a onesie perhaps)

I still wear black to funerals.

I rarely ever wear anything else. Never have done. Black, down through all the layers.

I love black

It suits me

However I mostly live in jeans and t shits and jumpers and I go wear colour

In this weather Ive been wearing lots of linen and loose cotton tops, tops are mostly white with bright embroidery or just pale blues

It’s a bit of a problem for us men. I reckon most men fancy a woman wearing a nice black dress but a funeral is not the best time for it.

don’t you mean ‘down through all the years’?
