What a generous company M$ is. How to get Microsoft Office 2021 Professional installed on your computer absolutely free of charge.

Just as a matter of interest did anyone do it?
I did but it took a couple of goes to get it right. I think the most important is to turn off the warning for apps not from M$ Store. (Mine is Win11 so might vary slightly with Win10)
Settings > Apps > Advanced apps settings > Choose where to get Apps >
Change to “Anywhere” (you can change it back again afterwards)
It seems a strange complication to me as all the bits required come from M$ themselves.
I also had to uninstall a 32 bit version of M$ Office 2010 and Outlook.
Once this was done the instructions worked perfectly and a working 64 bit M$ Office Professional Pro is installed on this computer. I suspect M$ didn’t intend this but why not make hay while the sun shines?
BTW there is a transcript of the video so if you have trouble following the steps watching the video get the transcript from the YouTube site.
I just might give it try Bruce, I have a bit of a phobia when it comes to technology but perhaps I should steel myself. In short if I can manage it then anybody can.
