Do you remember Edwina Currie telling poor people to wear silk long johns… the furore that erupted nationwide

it’s impossible to buy long johns or thermal vests in the ladies section these days. They have made them all leggings and “loungewear”. Designs that someone over 80 would find hard navigating.

any fuss !! :roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

Hi

That is the only large employer in town
.
It would destroy it.

We would then have to import steel at whatever price they want to charge us

@swimfeeders , We do import steel allready Swimmy !! :thinking::thinking:

I trust you don’t go out in public in this …. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Hi

Yes I know, we need to be cutting imports and making more here on all goods

It’s more like a dressing gown, just very warm.

I have had the tab open on the site since yesterday and I’m dithering. They are all a bit gaudy & cartoony, but I do really like the plain ones. And they have a sale on :sweat_smile:

While the general public are taking a huge hit to the hip pocket Australia’s two major supermarkets are not hurting at all. They continue to make a billion dollar profit. They are not sharing the in the pain. Prices continue to rise across all lines, sometimes up to 30% at a time.
