The latest inflation figures show inflation is still slowing in Australia but at 4.3% pa it is still way above the Reserve Bank target of 2 to 3%. It is the lowest rate of inflation since 2022.
Alas it is not all sweetness and light and there are still some worrying trends but there is unlikely to be an increase in interest rates in February
However things are going in the right direction if slowly.
