It looks like inflation is easing, annual inflation eased slightly this month according to figures released by the ABS.
If you annualised the month’s inflation the annual figure would be about 2.4%
Is inflation decreasing worldwide I wonder?
I think so Bruce, it’s coming down over here too and has been stable for some weeks now.

The latest monthly consumer price indicator shows inflation fell sharply to 5.6 per cent over the 12 months to May, down from 6.8 per cent in April.
BUT if you just take the figures for this year there is no inflation so it all really depends on which figure you want to take notice of.
