Many years ago my flatmate and I drove down to Lake Waikarimoana in his Austin 7. We camped for a couple of nights and got 2 deer. One we tied to the back and the other was over the bonnet of the car. Whenever we got to a steep bit of road whoever wasn’t driving had to jump out and push the poor little Austin. We arrived at a gas station and while we were filling up a guy came over and had a look at our cargo. “I’ll give you 2 quid for that one” pointing at the front of the car. That was more than it took to fill up the tank so we took it! The rest of the way back to Auckland we didn’t have to push!
Yes and still do Rabbit meat is much tastier than chicken and great for curry …pigeon pheasant and venison are all excellent and better than anything bought in a supermarket
As a regular meat eater of almost all kinds I was accidently reading some other threads on another site and became reminded of the rules and regulations given by Moses to the people of Israel about what should and should not be eaten - the disallowed of pork as even more clearly demonstrated by the Muslim popns is clearly an example still practiced. this website suggests that all of the rules are still very applicable for good health and avoidance of viruses etc?
You can’t beat a nice bit of crackling.
sorry what was that can’t hear a thing there seems to be a lot of cracklin on here atm??
My Dad used to like that - I cannot stand the stuff. Whenever I have a joint of Pork or Gammon - I give the skin to my neighbour who smothers it in honey and roasts it for her hubby!
