In this second part of visiting Tasmania’s East Coast, we start at the remote convict coal mines at Saltwater River, climb to view Cape Raoul and the famous surfing location, Shipstern Bluff before taking a helicopter flight.

Shipsterns! It’s is a wedge of a wave and is infamous for its pulsating wave faces that are extraordinarily challenging to surf.

Tasmania is on my very short list of places to visit ('26). No wonder why! You have every reason to be proud of it, Bretwick.
