I watched an Uber driver drop off food at someone's front door

then get back in his car and drive off.
What a poor business model. Surely they can knock and let the person know their food is here?
Seems like we, the public are allowing reduced service.
I suppose that the recipient can track when the driver has arrived?

Maybe the driver has interaction problems?

I am thinking their delivery method. Impersonalisation.

Don’t just blame the organization, maybe the customer stipulated that delivery method? maybe the customer has interaction issues? sometimes its best not to make wide ranging assumptions.

Amazon are the worst for that. They are being followed and the parcel gets stolen as they drive away.
