I visited Sherbrooke Forest today

Within 30 minutes I espied a Superb Lyrebird.
My first such encounter.
The Superb Lyrebird inhabits dense, moist rainforests in southeast Australia and Tasmania.
I came across this one in the Sherbrook Forest in the Dandenong National Park, 40 km southeast of Melbourne, Victoria.
The Superb Lyrebird can mimic most sounds it hears, form chainsaws, dog barks, car engines and local native birds.

Yes, the bird flu might take hold and devastate our bird life.
