Woodman Point was my go-to.
Perfect day, little breeze.
I watched a driver as he attempted to reverse into a car bay.
First, he backed into a 4-foot-high bollard making an audible crunch.
Then he moved forward so that the rear of his car was level with the front of the car bay.
Which meant that his car was sticking out, blocking a lane.
He exited the vehicle, walked away using the key fob to lock said vehicle.
The two forward windows were fully open/down.
He proceeded to walk along the beach.
Really, some people should not be driving.
You sure it was his car?
He sounds inconsiderate enough and unconcerned enough to be parking someone elses.
Or did he lean precariously and sway as he walked.
No reason to think it was not his car.
He was not drunk or anything similar. ![]()
Were you close enough to smell his breath?
No. I was more than 50 metres away.
So, how could you guarantee his inebriation state?

It is hilarious watching some people park. Funny how they are never the ones to get a ticket for inconsiderate parking!
I do wonder how some drivers ever got their licence ![]()
I’ve long held a theory that once some people have passed the driving test and got their licence, they have extra lesson to learn how to drive terribly with no consideration for anyone else on the road. This is historically true for many BMW and Audi drivers, who have clearly taken some kind of advanced driving badly courses.
That was brave … any BMW drivers on here. ![]()
They’re too busy on YouTube and TikTok looking at reels to find even more ways to drive awfully and get away with it.
The only problem with civilization is the people. ![]()
Lucky you to have a beach day!
