You know what? I was thinking exactly the same thing. After switching back from not watching the eating trial, I thought ‘well this is not too bad, it looks like a glass of cola.’
Well, it’s a good job that Holly’s got those legs because her stylist did her no favours last night …
Her delivery was particularly stilted last night, too, with her eyes rigidly fixed on the autocue …
Anyway, just as I’d begun to notice it, Dec mentioned it:
“We’re (they’re, you’re) gonna smash it, guys”
Obviously the “Trek” was heavily contrived and edited down from far more than the 85 minutes allowed to John, James and Rita, but the celebs got tired, dirty and wet (not necessarily in that order … ;-)) but it made good “drama” later …
because, in the meantime, Nick and Noel had been butting heads over the rules (“3 in the camp”) …
then when the “trekkers” arrived back with 10 from 11 stars and John volunteered to forego the feast, Nick, once again, pulled rank … cue more head-butting …
… John went to the feast and Nick had bean-burgers - it was the right decision and Nick wasn’t being a hero, but he could be a winner …
Next - Anne is included on health grounds and visits Hellish Hospital …
sorry u men out there but holly just hasn’t got it for the jungle’ dec tries to have a laugh but he just dont get the feed back from her …wrong choice of partner I say - ok on morning tv I suppose ,but ratings will fall if they keep her in -Scarlett would have been more fun with him …but I suppose like tv bosses she dont fit the image ewwwww ……TO MUCH OF HOLLY – OK FOR XMAS LOL…
Oooh No. I couldn’t take Scarlett’s voice for more than five minutes. I used to watch the extra programme years ago with Tara Palmer- Tompkinson and quite liked that but they just fill the programme with weirdos these days.
I agree with you there dongle. I don 't watch it either.
Too many of 'em, too shouty and show-offy, all trying to outdo each other.
I also agree with Omah about Holly’s mauve and brown outfit -
bloomin’ awful.
As far as Dec’s jokes and so on, quite a few seem to fall flat I agree.
Holly seems out of her comfort zone and nice girl that she is, she seems far more comfortable with Phil on their usual morning show.
I’m wondering if Holly even likes Dec. He isn’t right without Ant IMO.
I doubt with the programs timing they could have shown all the Trek. I guess they had to highlight it. Assuming they actually did do the full time in reality.
I thought Anne was drinking cola, too.
I bet Nick regrets choosing her to sleep in his bedroom if she is doing rude noises at night, or is it just one big explosion in the morning!
I wouldn’t like Scarlett Moffat being the presenter with that shocking screechy voice.
I could imagine her huge teeth coming out of the television screen and devouring me!
It certainly looked like Cola. Has anyone googled what fish eyes look like juiced? No, it doesn’t come up with a pic, but if you look again at the shots of her drinking it, at the end the empty glass does have some residue bits in it, pure Cola wouldn’t have bits in it.
Tiffany, it makes you wonder if it was cola and were the others drinking tarted up milk shakes?
Most of them seemed to drink the concoctions so effortlessly.
I don’t know if it’s my imagination but l noticed the other night when Holly first walked onto the set in some ?crocodile boots. She kept turning her feet one way then to the other, as if she was showing the boots from every angle as a model would?
Or am l having another of my ‘hand on the pregnant tummy’ moments?
I’m thinking that the trekkers took all day to do it and that the time they took to prepare for abseiling, rafting, potholing and zip-lining wasn’t included in the 85 minutes …
