I left my camcorder in the park

Went to Mandurah today.
Set the camcorder up on the tripod and after an amount of time I drove 2 hours home in peak hour traffic.
Only realised when I arrived home that the camera is still in Mandurah.
I will ring the police tomorrow to see if anyone has handed it in.

Awe tough luck.

What bad luck, I hope you get it back.

I put my phone number and PO Box on the first shot on both my still and movie cameras in the, probably vain, hope that if I leave it somewhere someone hands it in. On the still cameras if you make it a “favourite”, it doesn’t get deleted.(haven’t had to delete anything on the camcorder yet so don’t know if it works on that).

Aw, hope you get it back. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Sorry to hear that @Bretrick, hope somebody was kind enough to hand it in to the authorities.

Are you insured against loss?

No insurance against.
Just need to put it down as a bad experience.

Hi Bretrick I hope it turns up.

HI, I am hoping it does as well. Rather forlorn hope me thinks.

It’s been my experience that most people are honest, despite what we see on the news.
Good luck Bretrick.
That’s a good idea Bruce, if there was a number or address to be found on the equipment I’m sure most people would return it…I would.

I will find out today. Give the police a ring late this afternoon.

Fingers crossed for you Bretrick! :crossed_fingers:

I filed a lost property report with the police. Let the pawn shop know.
Now I wait.

My thinking is that it is gone. Rather new camcorder. Who ever picked it up will keep it.

Not necessarily… keep hoping :slightly_smiling_face:
