Well, Australia has another cuddly creature to stimulate your dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins up top.
Wombats
Some may think them whack(crazy) and while Wombats may appear to some to be slightly dipsy, they provide just as much fun and enjoyment.
Alas, Wombats are a protected species so having one at home is not a viable option, though if you were to become a Registered Wildlife Carer then you will be in the enviable position of being around our native creatures and the Ball of Fur named Fatso.

The Wombat has had a negative impact n the meercats IMO.
Why? There are no natural Meerkats in Aussie land.
