As many people do.
What irks me is when people try to preach to others how to live their lives, do this, do that, don’t do this, don’t do that.
Then one finds out that they are hypocrites, because behind closed doors, or in their past, they done everything they are now preaching against.
Irks me, those Hypocrites.
Same here, don’t have no cotter with them now.
In my opinion, they are not ,necessarily, hypocrites as ,some might have done the very same things they are campaining against, but after a change of heart they might feel the need to enroll others to follow thzir steps.
Sometimes such people are overly enthousiastic though and ready to convince others, may be as a way to convince themselves too.
But, like you I dislike people who once they made their own choices go on cruisades to convince others to do the same , in my opinion it is a lack of respect of other people freedom.
If you live in a society, you can’t avoid hypocrisy, you just have to be sure you only got involved with the bit you had control over, the rest you did not succumb to as a choice.
No skeletons in my closet, I buried them in the garden.
Also unwanted advice can be so annoying
Ooops sorry I’m drifting off topic.
That’s okay. You are contributing a very pertinent point
No skeletons here Bretrick. Times change and we change, decisions and actions taken in the past seemed good and logical at the time, and even if we realise now that they were bad decisions and actions we will have learnt from the experience, so the skeletons have been part of the experience of life, and necessary.
Only MOTHS in this closet >>
“You really should get out more Grandpa”
All the way to the Dirk Kirk.
Most of my skeletons are probably disarticulated by now!
Best leave it at that…
It’s human nature, unfortunately, to judge others when as you say the majority of people have their own flaws…No one is perfect . We all have faults . It’s just that some people don’t have the intellect to realise this
