I undertake my own inspections of my properties and I’ve never encountered any access problems. All of my tenants know what is expected from them and all without exception take great care of their rentals, but then all are well vetted and of course are also responsible to their nominated guarantor named on their lease.

I was very lucky with my landlord.He was a nice man,we became friends,I helped him renovate his other flats and even baby sat for him 
I do a six monthly inspection of a house we rent out. Very, very lucky with great tenants.
