I grew up watching Dr Who

One of the best shows for a kid to marvel at.
Dr Who first aired in Australia in 1965. The first Dr I saw was Jon Pertwee, 1970, followed by Tom Baker, 1974, Peter Davison, 1982, Colin Baker, 1984.
I do not remember those that followed, Sylvester McCoy, 1987 or Paul McGann, 1996.
There was a break of 10 years before the show was resurrected with Jon Hurt playing the War Doctor. I never saw this/these episodes.
The next Dr I remember seeing is Davis Tennant in 2005, then Matt Smith, 2010. The final Dr I saw was Peter Capaldi, 2014.
There were 15 Doctors up to the present day.

T - Time
A - And
R - Relative
D - Dimension
I - In
S - Space

Ah, your are a youngster - I remember William Hartnell, the first Dr Who !!

So do I, I missed the very first episode of Dr Who and it was years before I finally saw it. Apart from that I have seen every episode until the writing got weird

I disliked the Dr with the boater and I stopped watching when it was a female Dr Who, not because it was female but because the stories were incomprehensible.

The specs were the daftest sonic screwdriver ever and Tom Baker was the best Dr Who

I’ve watched it of course but more for the female companions I think.Jo Grant was my favourite in the olden days and Billie Piper more recently.

As a child, I used to watch Dr Who every Saturday when Tom Baker played him, later on as I grew up I just went off it.

There was a point where entertainment became a message and, flying Daleks? what was that all about!

Never a huge fan of this, but I did watch it up until David Tennant’s doctor. Hated the Matt Smith version and sort of gave up on it and never watched it since. I have seen the odd episode since then, but found them incomprehensible and unwatchable. The whole thing needs a compete restart and some good stories before I would consider going back to it.
