I came back to Warwick bushland

As I arrive I am confronted with 5 stationary police cars with their lights flashing at the entrance to the car park.
There was a mob of police standing around chit chatting.
What ever went down must have concluded before my arrival.
They left inside 10 minutes of my arrival.
That aside, I walked into the bush, which is mainly Banksia, Jarrah and Marri trees. With loads and loads of Xanthorrhoea preissii - Grass Trees.
Almost immediately before me was a Tiliqua scincoides - common Blue Tongue Lizard.

A little further along there was another one

One more. This one is a young one. Probably last seasons crop

Quite harmless. Sure, they have a powerful bite but how would they ever get the chance to bite?
Unless someone was to pick one up, then they deserve to be bit.
