I came across this stunning 1956 Buick Classic

Situated at Perth (Mandurah) Western Australia
There is a for sale sign inside. No price, only a mobile number.

This is a true work of art.

In the foyer of the National Museum they had an FJ Holden.

I have never owned an FJ but I did own an FB Holden similar to this:

Similar styling to the Buick but probably both had all the same faults. A deathtrap in the wet, road holding was absolute crap, Drum brakes all round, it was like trying to stop an ocean liner.

The FJ Holden looks very similar to the British Vauxhall Wyvern and the one below looks like the Vauxhall F Type Victor, both were built in the Vauxhall Plant in Luton, Bedfordshire, which was the only Vauxhall Plant in England until 1964 when the Ellesmere Port Plant opened in Cheshire (Near Liverpool)
