As soon as I pulled up at the holiday village I hear the sound of a Little Corella being fed.
So I get out my camera and go looking. Only needed to walk 10 metres and there above me in the Casuarina Pine Tree were 6 corellas.
One, beak open, was crying out to mom, Feed me, Feed me. Mom was bobbing her head up and down, this allows food to be regurgitated from her crop so it can be passed to the chick.
The chick will allows be lower on the branch than the feeding parent. Allows the food to flow easily to the chick. (turn the volume down)
