Isn’t it the most expensive tomb ever discovered?

His throne is worth millions… as is his death mask not to mention all the thousands of peices of jewellery.

Looking at Google. I am not sure if they can answer that. As apparently the value is “incalculable.” Although, they have insured the discovered artifacts for $26 million. Whilst those who have tried to estimate value put a price which is approaching, or even exceeding $1 billion.

The Tutankhamen exhibition in 1972 was seriously big news back in the day. People queued for hours in all weather to get into the British Museum. Somehow my school managed to get a special visit arranged exclusively for my class. One of the perks of growing up in central London !
