I was thinking about creating a revolution (no not actually planning one) but the logistics of one and decided it would be virtually impossible without the help of another country…
For a start, how would we communicate and coordinate such a revolution? The internet is closely monitored for such extremist events. They deliberately allow us to use the net so they know what we are going to do before we know, and they can prepare.
Peaceful protest doesn’t work and they can stop us in our tracks by closing down all our bank accounts…Remember Canada? They could starve us out. Perhaps the lockdown was a trial run…And with digital ID they can stop your movements and prevent the purchase of certain items.
I agree, there are more of us than them, but how do you get everyone onside?
The Russians were a good example of people power but where has that got them in the end? There is always someone who will take advantage of their power…Who do we trust?
Great questions Bob! I’ve moved to a dedicated thread… wonder if anyone will be able to offer any solutions/thoughts?
I think it basically can start with phony returns at the Ballot Box.
I personally don’t trust anything I see or read now. Fact Check the lying fact checkers. Total lies is possible because in 10 years all hell going to break out and total collapse is most likely possible.
Look at all the lying people mouths on News programs. Then you have The pics for Department heads with 0 experience.
There is no honesty in Public today.
You say you’ll change Acts of Parliament
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it’s the institution
Well, you know
You’d better free your mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of Nigel Farage
You ain’t gonna make it with anyone anyhow
One good turn deserves another. That is a revolution
If by people power you mean the average person has any say so I disagree because once Stalin took power it was game over and yes after Stalin some worse then others but their system is an oppressive disaster .
There are Russians who come here for surgery and to give their kids Citizenship but unfortunately for me as love chatting with tourists I have never met any but know from others they come and well to do but would not say most Russians are even what we would call low middle class .
''In southern Florida’s Sunny Isles Beach, Russian tourists Anna and Helen sip coffee with their husbands and newborn babies: a common scene in what has become a prized destination for well-off foreigners looking to secure US citizenship for their children.
The weather, white-sand beaches and dazzling turquoise waters are common reasons given for traveling to give birth in this city of 20,000 people, north of Miami.
But one 34-year-old, who gave her name only as Anna, was more direct.
“For the American passport!” she told AFP, smiling. She arrived in the US while expecting now two-month-old Melania.‘’
clever.
lol yes I thought so
the trouble with revolutions is that people are never happy with what comes next…
The world has had a lot of people fight only to be disappointed with those they put in power because in the end you are either in the inner clique or you are not .
Plus ça change, plus c’est la même chose
Ooo I say,a revolution eh!..count Me in…I’ll be there as soon as I get rid of this bloody cold
‘Power To The People on the OFC’
“the more it changes, the more it’s the same thing’
