How to make your own houseplant feed/fertiliser?

Anyone make their own houseplant feed/fertiliser? I bought another snake plant that was actually quite big and only £15 :lol: so I am determined to try and look after it :icon_redface:

The video below suggests one (or all - 1 teaspoon each, except for banana skin) of the following:

  • coffee grounds
  • egg shells (boiled then crushed/ground)
  • banana skins (left in water for 6 hours)
  • Epsom salts

Interesting, I’m a bit lazy although if I’m boiling eggs in the morning I’ll always save the water for the house plants. Otherwise I have to confess I’m quite liberal with the Baby Bio :flushed:

I’ve got plenty of epsom salts so that’s definitely doable for me :lol:
