In 1976 we had been here 3 years, kids were 9 & 5 OH worked for a sheet metal firm. I was a stay at home Mum. I remember the Ladybirds, saving water by sharing baths, (didn’t have a shower then), kids enjoyed a small paddling pool in the garden. I was able to top up the pond as we had fish in it. Can’t remember if we got stand pipes. I think that time was probably hotter for longer, but as I get older I can’t stand the heat like I used to be able to then.
Like Kermit I have the ability to somewhat breathe through my skin .

As the years have come upon me I now drink roughly a gallon of water a day granted as the years have come upon me I can no longer sleep a straight 8 hours without going to the bathroom , lol
You should drink lots of water.It thins the blood and helps prevent strokes,etc… particularly in us oldies.
If you are active and its very warm, cup your hands under the faucet
suck that Cup of water dry every 20 minutes. You also wash your hands
most likely your face too, which is beneficial to your health, big time.

I’m the same as you, I’m up and down all night (about every two hours if I’m pedantic) however, drinking too much water is worse than not drinking enough it washes away valuable vitamins and nutrients, it can also cause some nasty side effects…

I have arthritis on right hip but it has not spread and rarely any problems to the point had plumbing job earlier was under sink no problem because I take Organic Sulfur ( MSM powder ) and have to drink lots water with that .
I also chop up 2 apples and 2 inches of ginger root put in blender with 16 ounces cold water daily and drink it .
I also eat lots blood pudding , fried junk , ice cream and pretty much what I want lol so not like I am into healthy eating but must say the above has made a noticeable difference health , energy wise so sticking with that .
I do try to drink less at night because yes would like to sleep , lol
That at least is an upside to my condition. The connection is straight from my kidney and into a big night bag. No more getting up for the call of nature.
I think you know the best thing to do to look after yourself NCS and you don’t want some old Yorkshire bloke from the other side of the Atlantic preaching to you…
