Oh dear me, yes, Puff the Magic dragon is incredibly sad, I always want to re write the end. The same with the end of Winnie the Pooh

Did you ever see that film Drop Dead Fred?

It’s about a woman whose very disrespectful imaginary friend, Fred, who represents her rebellious side, comes back to help her escape her tyrannical mother and her bullying unfaithful husband

Anyway, once she has escaped, she doesn’t need her imaginary friend any more and stops seeing him

But when she visits her old school friend, she hears his daughter blame an imaginary friend called Fred for frightening off her nanny, and the woman realises her imaginary friend has moved on to play with the little girl!

So that’s what I choose to believe. When a child outgrows an imaginary friend, that imaginary friend moves onto another child

And when Puff was lying sad and abandoned in that cave he looked up and saw another child, wide eyed with amazement and excitement, wanting to be his friend and they went on to have amazing adventures together!

I can think of one but if I wrote it then all 35 TL3s would be hitting the very slow mode button and sending thread to closure at the same time lol

I’ll have to look out for that film.

Yes I think Puff has found a series of children on the beach in Honalee to befriend.

No, no, happy tears!

Puff is going to enchant and befriend many, many more children who will all love him dearly and maybe, just maybe, one of them will keep him in their heart forever

That’s a lovely thought @Maree

They wait until you die, and then they torment your soul for eternity, as an act of revenge. It’s true, it really is. :flushed:

No no no @Harbal, I’m sure that’s not true, they are creatures of light and kindness.

Not his overly large badger that hides in tunnels :grin:

My word Harbal, you must have made their lives a misery then, if you think they are all hanging around the pearly gates waiting to give you a walloping! :joy:

Not being funny, but are you lot alright? Surreal on here, it is, surreal.

Mmmm, Drop Dead Fred wasn’t! He was all the naughty that she’d had suppressed out of her!
