This is from a youtube channel called Film Theory. He takes obscure facts from TV shows or movies and investigates. In this, he does an in-depth look at how much Scrooge McDuck is worth. In order to do this, he has to find out how tall Scrooge is, how many ounces in a Troy pound and how to calculate how many gold coins would fit in a certain area.
Then he finds every reference to Scrooge McDuck’s money and tries to make the reference into a concrete number.
On a conservative estimate, Scrooge McDuck, a fictional cartoon duck, has less assets than the 5th richest person in the world at the time. (I’m finding this a little sad.)
On the most generous estimate, Scrooge McDuck is indeed the wealthiest Duck on the planet and has more assets than all the assets in the world.
