There are as many poor MPs as there are poor Trade Union Officials. I knew one who was SO poor, he was made a Baron and frequented a restaurant I visited occassionally. This particular Baron was very loyal to his union or so the members thought until it was made know he worked alongside Special Branch due to the militants undertow.
