How many members have no adornments?

Why do really attractive females think current body mutation is attractive to men? Give me a 1970 girl any day and as for the Princess Diana piercing, I am totally lost.

You can get ring sizes changed at a decent jeweller

Like many others here, I too have no adornments… no tats, no piercings, no jewelry, no watch, no rings… I do wear a hat whenever I leave the house, though.

The frequency with which I’ve worn hats throughout my life is highly corelated with the amount of natural hair I have on the top of my head. I guess I’m insecure about going bald. For the past 20 or so years, I never leave home without a hat. I’ve forgotten to wear a hat on occasion and turn the car around to go back home to get one. It’s usually a flat cap or newsboy cap, but if the sun is beating down and it’s hot out, I wear one of those lightweight wide-brim hats.

Jewellery has never appealed to me, and I shudder at seeing tats. Urgh! Hate wearing a watch on my wrist so don’t even bother with that. If I need the time I look at my phone.

I wear a small silver dolphin on a chain around my neck, my late husband bought it for our 10th wedding anniversary. I have a weakness for earrings and have many pairs of them after having my ears pierced quite late in life, about 10 years ago. I don’t wear any rings because they make my fingers swell, though I do obviously own a wedding ring, plus an engagement and eternity ring that I can no longer wear. Sadly, I had to have my wedding ring cut off due to the swelling so it’s kept in my jewellery box. I don’t have any tattoos.

King George V had dragon tattoos on his arms (a bit of useless trivia!)

That’s interesting @Anise1 I didn’t know that. I wonder why he chose dragons - maybe to do with George and the Dragon … patron saint and all that.

Dragon tattoos were popular with sailors - he was in the navy, and trained to be a naval officer apparently, before unexpectedly becoming heir to the throne.

No tats, no jewellery, no gold teeth or piercings … just my own original organic bod with no adornment.

I admit to occasionally been tempted to invest in a nice wig or two so I can match my hair to my mood. …or blue hair to match my jeans, that kind of thing.

Are tats potatoes?

Yes they are … but I couldn’t be bothered to type out the whole word.

Adornments? My watch and my reading glasses. And thank you kindly for the other message!

I tried wearing a watch but I was tempted to keep checking the time every 5 minutes so I gave up.Too stressful.

I also wear prescription glasses, but I consider them to be a medical device – not an ā€œadornment.ā€ I sure as hell wouldn’t wear glasses if I didn’t need them to read.

Reminds me of Millie, my little black and white from years ago - she was such a character.
