I bought my aftershave in June 1999.
100 ml bottle of Body Kouros.
Still has at least 80% left in it.
25 years old now. Still smells great.
No “Splashing all over” for me.
One squirt behind each ear is sufficient for me.
Also shows I very, very rarely go socialising where I need to be dressed to the nines.
Ah, memories
This used to be my absolute favourite!
Haven’t had any if this citrusy, woody scent for years.
How long did it last? Sadly I can’t remember, maybe I should get out more
I wear aftershave every day but the bottles never seem to run out, I can’t even remember the last time I threw an empty bottle away.
I wish my vodka bottles lasted that long before running out.
I only bother with it on special occasion, otherwise I don’t wear any. Yet for some reason, people insist on buying me aftershave for birthday/Christmas. Hence, I have bottles and bottles of it - some of it years old - and a good percentage of it will end up in a charity shop.
I try not to use perfume too often because I have a theory it’s not good for you. It often contains parabens. I feel the same about scented candles. Ok for occasional use. In the case of scented candles I prefer to use them on a warm summers night outside. The idea that a candlelit bath is relaxing has always astonished me.
At least they are not buying you soap.
<<<<<<<<<<<< this long >>>>>>>>>>>>>
Its surprising the fragrance makers have not gone out of business after the two metre rule
I get through 3/4 100ml bottles a year,i put some on every day regardless whether i`m going out or not.
I feel naked otherwise.
I wish I could wear perfume. Makes my skin itch. Buy my favourite was Chanel no,5…shame eh? But can squirt on clorhing or hair…
I’ve had perfume for a few years before replacing it. I tend to wear the lighter fragrances, they hold up well. Daisy Dream for everyday wear, and Dead Sexy for a bit of extra fun at times.
At the moment I have about 8 bottles of perfume - 3 are 100ml and 5 are 50ml. They are all open and in varying stages of being used. This will probably last me until November when it is my birthday and I hope to get some more, Then there is always Christmas to stock up. I like perfume and would not like to be without any.
