For me I would say I am still becoming a patient person.it takes understanding to even know what the word means, imo.
I am very patient with animals i have endless patience with them because i love them, people not so much.
i am impatience with computers argghhhhhhh
and washing machines that wont spin !

I am as a rule a patient person. I have like most people had to make my own way through life and like most people have had to grow a thick skin. The only time I count to ten is when I come up against the modern day Jobsworths who know it all but canāt walk and whistle at the same time without a rule book. All brains and no common sense.

My patience has grown since being on this forum, also in real life as well, even my son has noticed how patient I am becoming,
Good grief, Pauline, so many questions in one post - do you have thumb screws and a rubber cosh to hand? 
OK - I am extremely patient with Cats, most animals, card making, Cats, cookery, jewellery making, Cats, some colouring books if they are over patterned or repetitive, and pattern drafting/dress designing. Oh - did I mention Cats?
When it comes to people - I donāt tolerate fools easily - though am trying to fix that. I was patient with those I trained when at work - they said so anyway!

Patience? What bl**dy patience 
Patience is wonderful if you possess it, it donāt come easy though.
My son is good at trying my patience, he pushes my buttons, then he says, well done mum,I see your patience is growingā¦,
I know you were, I can see you are full of funā¦I used to be, mine has got up and left at the moment,ā¦my humour had to be taken into checkā¦it was way off the scale at times, bit OTT.
I got carried away with it, not realising it could sound offensive to others.
Thatās the thing with humour we donāt all find the same things funny. Which is a good thingš
Yes I agree, Iāve read a thread on the forum which I have found to be far from funnyā¦in fact I found it to be darn insulting.
I am very patient and have a good sense of humour so that gets me through life. 
Yes you certainly had patience on the old site, you can also see it in your posts, admin also has that gift, as does Meg.,Susan etc,and a few others on this siteā¦itās wonderful if you possess it and can hold onto itā¦
For me I think itās understanding patience and working on it,imo.
I have patience normally but when am in a āmoodā can be sarcastic and short tempered but normally passes really quickly and I donāt hold grudges
I worked for many years in a profession where patience was an absolute necessity and besides doing quite well at it I got quite a lot of praise, some of the more notable examples of which I keep to this day.
I do not however have very much patience for those that are dishonest; who intentionally mislead; who coerce or antagonise; or who deliberately cause or seek to cause pain or suffering.
Since facing death I think that my patience with the innocent has probably grown but not with those as mentioned above, because why anybody would choose to spend what time they have on this planet being consciously disagreeable IMHO can only be because such people are not nice people.
