How do you wake up

Wake up?

Do you set an alarm?

Do you wake up naturally at a certain time?

Do you also sleep well through the night?

Do you ever dream as well?

I wake up feeling as if I’ve hardly slept, it takes me hours to properly feel awake.

Not often do I set an alarm (iPhone alarm).

I have no natural time to wake up, too many ‘silly’ permanent night shifts.

I can sleep for England, day or night and have been known to sleep all weekend.

No time for dreaming, too busy sleeping usually.

Baz, I wake up as bright as a button…just don’t talk to me after 9 pm…:joy::rofl::heartpulse:

I wake up naturally, before dawn breaks. I always feel amazing first thing and so energised, but obviously its dark and Mr P & the dog are still asleep so I have to be quiet for the most part. I think I need to be a postwoman or something because I could walk for miles in the silent streets. I do get insomnia from time to time, but that’s to do with neighbours rather than not being able to sleep.

Me too, when my son stays, I have to be very quiet in the mornings, because he doesn’t rise until around 9.30 am…he takes ages to wake up…doesn’t go to bed until around 1 am…:open_mouth:

If I need to get up at a very early time, though not lately, I either set an alarm or I get my daughter to ring me. My son will also wake me if I ask him to at around 8.30/9 a.m…
I do dream a lot & I wake up two or three times in the night & need a wee, the joys of getting old!.

I don’t like them either…very strange, never used to dream like this, my medication is still the same.

I’m wondering if it’s all these Lattes I drink usually 7 a day…:open_mouth:

Lucky you, it takes me hours and hours. Usually the mornings don’t exist for me, after midday is when I start my day usually. That is all down to working permanent night shifts for a couple of decades, it ruined my circadian rhythm (body clock) and I have yet to find a way to change it!

In honesty my sleep pattern is all over the place…I worked night shifts as well, in an EMI unit also home care…it does mess our body clock up that’s for sure.

I stop drinking coffee after 7.30 it helps. :grinning:

I wake up in my bed full of hope for a brand new day via alarm. Sleep through the night. Dreamtime all the time.

Tiff, I usually have a Latte as a bedtime drink…I’ll miss it tonight, then see if I dream or not…those dreams are seriously upsetting, I’m wondering if I imagined those that I thought were mouse in my loft, I hit the ceiling with the Hoover long nozzle,…did I dream it, never heard a thing up there since…your mind can play tricks on you when your half asleep.

I have never, ever, used an alarm clock - cannot imagine a worse start to the day.

I usually go to bed just after midnight - sleep like a log - and am up again about 05:00am - like a Tiger refreshed. Been that way since childhood.

As for dreams - if I have any I do not remember them.
