How do you get your news

TV, Newspapers, On Line, Radio?
I used to watch the TV News but have not done so now for at least 4 years?
My main news comes from abc.com.au print news on line.
Sometimes I read the State newspaper, not often though because it is always at least 24 hours behind

I watch the ABC News every evening at 7pm followed by the 7.30 Report. It is basically the only free to air TV I watch.

If I am visiting my daughter I watch it streaming on iView because they don’t have a TV aerial.

In the morning I listen to AM and the ABC news on their local radio broadcast

I just use the BBC news on line or a local paper, The (Brighton) Argus for example.
I keep promising myself that I’ll put some quality time aside on a Sunday morning and go for The Sunday Times. It’s the only national paper that I could be bothered with these days. There’s something just a bit special sitting down for a good read and flicking through those supplements. Far nicer than using a screen!

I mostly look on line at the BBC written news then also look at several YT newspapers to get a broader look…

Newspapers online mostly want a monthly payment so block you viewing,

I use the BBC Radio 4 & Solent
Also TV BBC 1 at 6pm .
Both my sons say “ oh mum not the beeb”

I go easy on the amount of news in my old age, it’s not good for me, it’s all bad news.

Tthere were 3 Gnus, daddy Gnu - mummy Gnu and baby Gnu
OIne day they had nothing to eat so daddy Gnu went out to find something they could eat, and didn’t come back. So Mummy Gnu went to look for him and she didn’t return either. So baby Gnu starved to death.

That is the end of the Gnu’s now for the weather forcast

From online news:
ABC CBS MS NOW CNN NBC
From TV:
At 6:30 pm— ABC, NBC, CBS, BBC world, PBS
From Radio:
All news stations
Our local newspapers are biased now, so the news is only what they want to skew. Also, most are not printed, but subscribed to online.

Good news sources - although worth noting that here you mean Sky UK, not Sky News Australia. The Ozzy one is still owned by Murdoch and its very much a baby Fox News.
I also tap into Reuters and Al-Jazeera.
Since the Israeli bombardment of Gaza started I have avoided BBC News. It has a proven pro-Israel bias (see court case against Owen Jones) and seems also to be pro-right wing parties in the UK (see excessive air time given to Reform and not Greens).

I think she’d have a problem accessing Sky News Australia living in the UK as it is not available outside Australia. However if she did watch it she’d be one of a very few.
